Debut Atlantic’s – Music Moves Us campaign is officially live on the Valley Harvest Marathon website!

As an official charity partner of the Valley Harvest Marathon, we’re gearing up to recruit runners (in-person and virtually), rally supporters, and raise funds for Debut Goes to School as part of our new Music Moves Us initiative.

We’re running to make sure every student has the chance to experience the magic of live music. For many young people in our region, a visit from a Debut Atlantic musician is their first (and sometimes only) opportunity to participate in a live professional performance experience.

Recent provincial funding cuts to the arts, including the complete elimination of the Artists in Schools grant, means students across our region are losing access to many incredible arts experiences. Our in-demand Debut Goes to School program, which reaches more than 10,000 students each year, is now at risk.

We need your support to ensure professional artists can continue inspiring students across Atlantic Canada. Together, we can keep live music in our schools and make sure every student has the chance to experience its power.
