ENCORE – Artist Relief Fund

“An organization that not only launches performers onto the world stage but has become the stage the world wants to perform on, that is Debut Atlantic.” – Violinist Marc Djokic, 2020

2020 has been a challenging year for artists and arts organizations.  In times like these, it is more important than ever that we support each other to ensure a vibrant cultural future. Debut Atlantic is excited to announce a new digital concert series in set to launch in 2021 to support Canadian classical and world music artists with paid performance opportunities. While sharing music in-person is our passion, we know that sharing music digitally still has the power to inspire and unite us.

Canadian artists, including our alumni, are very important to us and are, in many ways, the most connected to who we are as an organization. We felt that now, more than ever, is the right time to come together to create new opportunities for classical and world artists from across the country. We are very excited to welcome a few of our outstanding alumni, including Cheng2 Duo, violinist Marc Djokic, as well as alumni and fellow board members Julien LeBlanc, and Akiko Tominaga, as our ambassadors of this initiative.

If we all work together, even a small amount will make a significant difference in easing the burden for many musicians who have been affected by the COVID-19 global pandemic.

Would you consider helping us create paid performance opportunities for Canadian artists?

100% of funds will be used for artists fees in our new digital series.
